Sparky's smiling because we start off with her in the driver's seat
Gimpy has his paperwork ready
Sparky gets us to Gimpy's brother's place in Sutton safely, nice socks
We meet up with the rest of the gang in Windsor on Saturday
John's brother Jim's new ride, Chevy High Country. It was a sad day when his Harley left the stable. He visited with us for the two days
At Applebee's for Saturday supper, perfect Margaritas were a keeper
Timlecks were there but with no lawn chairs, C8 road trip shortcomings with trunk and frunk
The Jefferies' Z06. The parking attendants left a little to be desired however
The Timleck's C8, anyone seen my lawnchairs?
Mighty Thorrrr
Highly modded C6. John Caravaggio had a hand in a great deal of the add ons, particularly Lambo doors and custom interior
John Caravaggio's signature work
Awesome C2
A 57 survivor with some provenance
The band with GM HQ in the background across the Detroit River
It's not nice to make fun of "Stevie". Just missing the shades
Nice looking C1 with apparently a Ford paint colour
This C3 was well kept
A really nice looking 2013 anniversary edition 427 convertible
Charlie Butt's C6 ready for judging
This white C3 showed extremely well
A little extra oomph provided by Lingenfelter
A 63 Split window, still with the original owner sitting behind
Meticulous C3
An AC/DC fan
Paint, not decal
I believe an Admiral Blue Z06
Little colour override going on here
A 2023 70th Anniversary Edition, from Pennsylvania. The fella's first Corvette after a lifetime of BMW's and he is still very happy
A C6 1998 pace car edition with more than a few significant autographs
This Shadow Gray metallic has quite the blue tinge going on
A nice looking Long Beach Red Metallic Grand Sport
There was only one C8 Z06. The owner is the one on the left. With Z07
The side scoops are BIGGER in person
Beauty C2
Some bling on this C7
A 2015 Z06 with only 8,000 kms. He says that they never drive it in the rain
Obviously a wrap that does stand out
Another well kept white C3
Only other C6 ZR1 there besides Kirk's, also a 2009
I still think that the high wing looks better in the contrasting Carbon Flash
The Red Mist Metallic is possibly a keeper
The 2007 Indy pace car was a very well done special edition in my opinion
A his and hers shirt that says it all
On departure, a few blips of the cross plane does sound nice but so does a C7 Z06. They both just provide different sonics
Walkerville brewery
On to J.P. Wieser's for a little taste testing
Inside the charcoal barrel
Decisions, decisions
How to put a smile on our faces
The gang's all here and the tasting was mighty fine. Highly recommended
Johnny get's his new trophy. This one looks in a little better shape than the snapping turtle that they hit near Kaladar. Luckily nothing a little buffing won't remove from the splitter winglet
It even lights up in water for those rubber ducky days when Johnny wants to take his hot bath
At the other end of the table, clean up in aisle six courtesy of Johnny's brother Jim. You can dress him up however....
The sign in the rear says it all. On the Valley Vettes website we have something similar. Life's short, Drive Corvettes, Make new friends
The rest of the gang leaving for more southerly climes as the Gimp and Sparky are not up for a long trip yet. More pictures will follow from that epic journey
Our ending. Til the next outing
